About

There are two gifts
we should give our children…
     One is roots,
     the other is wings.

We believe that providing a place that’s a welcoming adventure for children as well as a place of beauty within a peaceful environment gives us wonderful opportunities to see our vision fulfilled.

We believe that if children are given ample time and freedom to explore and discover at their own pace, to spend long hours outdoors, to take risks and set out on adventures, and to learn the rigors of cooperation, they will develop skills and abilities that create in them the resiliency and courage to tackle life’s challenges.

This is the greatest way to prepare a child for life. And because of this we have worked hard to develop a place where children can do just that.

We believe that as a community that includes grandparents, and teachers we can offer support and encouragement as parents face the challenging task of nurturing their children into adulthood.

What makes Wellspring different?

Our outdoor classrooms invite hands-on learning and deep connection. Here, children care for the garden, tend to animals, share meals, and discover that learning is part of living.

At Wellspring, we:

  • Learn through play rather than worksheets or screens, encouraging imagination and problem-solving.
  • Spend our days outdoors, rain or shine, exploring nature’s lessons in real time.
  • Build community through shared meals, group projects, and caring for one another
  • Nurture faith and wonder, helping children see God’s presence in every discovery.
  • Respect each child’s pace, allowing learning to unfold naturally, not on a timeline.

A Community That Grows Together

Wellspring is more than a school. It’s a family. Parents, teachers, and children walk together through these formative years, sharing laughter, prayer, and purpose.

We believe that strong roots of community give children the courage to grow tall and thrive.

More than a learning program, Wellspring serves as a partner in your homeschool journey, offering academic enrichment for students and ongoing support, connection, and guidance for parents.
